NEWS: EXCITING, BREAKING NEWS... Sometimes God puts opportunities in our lives that I believe, have to be more than just coincidence.... After much heartache and stress of making the decision to step away from Baker Performance Academy, my biggest regret was leaving the amazing families I have been so blessed to work with here at the studio and knowing they would not have the outlet to continue to train in the performing arts. Having said all that, let me introduce you to Julia Nolan.... Her background is practically a mirror image to mine, but in different areas of the country. Julia was planning to start her own studio with a local business partner after just recently relocating to the area. So, having Julia and Renee come in is the perfect answer to my situation. I will still be involved in parts of the decision making process, but Julia will be the artistic director. I have no doubt that this studio will continue to flourish and be the premier studio for all training in the performing arts. We are planning a 'meet & greet' to introduce Julia and Renee to the families of Baker Performance Academy in early May- Make sure to look for follow up emails. This will be an opportunity to get to know them, ask questions, and even have a mini musical theatre workshop for the kids! Here is just a little about Julia....Versed in every aspect of the performing arts industry, Julia Nolan has toured around the world with different artists and starred in numerous productions. Her extensive background includes: Recording and touring with some of Japan’s top acts, plus touring the world with Sony recording artist Rhona Bennett. Julia was the lead singer in Lee Greenwood’s "Portrait of America" in Sevierville, Tennessee. She performed in Jeff Kutash's "The Main Event" at the Venetian Showroom in Las Vegas, at Tokyo Disney, and for Royal Caribbean. While living in New York City, she recorded the Maybelline commercials, Yoplait, Pantene, and Shower to Shower jingles. Julia has been directing talented, young people and sharing her love of performing arts for the past 10 years and is excited to be able to offer her expertise in Murfreesboro.
